Q. Now that APRUTIL exists, may we please move hooks (a generally useful
entity) into that lib (and put this issue back into util?

Yup. I *just* created APRUTIL last night. While Ryan and I can go hog-wild
and start shifting a bunch of code from Apache and APR over to APRUTIL, it
would be nice to at least hear a bit of other input.
I'm going to send out a detailed plan in a while. This will go to new-httpd
and to dev@apr. (I just realized that new-httpd might not be entirely keyed
in on the new package)

Absolutely... have no fear on that one.
(and after the copy, the tags will be removed from new loc)

It will all stay in the apache-2.0 repo, but it will not be in the
httpd-2.0 repo, which is what Roy's new repo will be called IIRC.

I think we are just waiting for some people on dev to decide how to move
the code out of Apache and into apr-utils. Greg and I have both voted to
move the ,v files so that the history is preserved.

I think we are just waiting for some people on dev to decide how to move
the code out of Apache and into apr-utils. Greg and I have both voted to
move the ,v files so that the history is preserved.
