I've repoerted a similar bug....

The use of the '+' no longer does what it did in the 1.3.x series.
In the 1.3.x, the '+' caused the configure process to append the
target-name to the directory tree (enabling multiple servers to exist in
one tree).
In the 2.0.x tree, the effect of the '+' is hardwired - it appends
"apache2" to the end of the path.

NOTE: the "--show-layout" option is also missing now.
