Warning macro with OXT

Hello

AOO 4.1.12 with Windows 7
Before you must have to install MRI OXT
When you run Tools/Add-ons/MRI menu 
Security macro warning appears
Do you have same problem?

OK no warning but do you have the file picker displayed?

Most likely, you opens a document localized in trusted sources
Try with a blank document

I installed the extension Set Picture as Comment, restarted OpenOffice,
opened a Calc file, selected the menu  Insert -> Picture -> As A Comment. I
got no warning. My Macro security is set to Medium.

I do not see the warning on Windows 10 with this build.

Confirmed with extension PicCom (https://extensions.openoffice.org/en/project/set-picture-comment) using 4.1.12 under Ubuntu 20.04 x64. There is a warning about macros when running this Extension under 4.1.12 but not under 4.1.11.

As you mentioned in a separate email, "this happens only when Basic macro is called in menu added by the OXT"

It is indeed a regression related to the macro execution fix.

There have been security fixes related to macros since 4.1.7. Please take a look at the security reports. It’s likely this warning is a result. There is a white list and possibly this type needs to be added.
