[jira] Created: (XAP-174) Widgets: checkBox: disabled image has a white background

Widgets: checkBox: disabled image has a white background
--------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: XAP-174
                 URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XAP-174
             Project: XAP
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Widgets
            Reporter: Matt Carbone
            Priority: Minor

by default, when a checkbox is disabled, the image "checkbox_off_disabled.gif" is shown. This image has a white background which is a problem because it overrides the background color style and creates what looks like a white border around the checkbox (if the background != white, of course).

solution - make background transparent for this image.
