I was able to do this by hiding the x-axis labels and adding vertical marklines.
```
markLine: {
data: stages.map(stage => ({
xAxis: stage,
})),
symbol: "none",
label: {
position: "start",
formatter: params => (params.value === +stages.at(-1) ? "Close" : params.value),
},
},
```
