Hello,
there was an attempt to prepare Debian package? I found this:

but it is dead since august 2011. 
I dug through maillist archives, but I found nothing.

I also found this:

I'm completly newbe in Debian, but I'll try to revive this and make it work with current Debian release. So... I posting here, hoping someone can give me some good advices or, perhaps, show me something that I did not noticed during my search.
