   @rabbah That would be pretty awesome 😄. Any idea if there would be pushback from other folks involved in the project? Technically can go the full `.ts` file route, but we can also use `tsc` to type check jsdoc-style comments ([source](https://www.typescriptlang.org/docs/handbook/type-checking-javascript-files.html#supported-jsdoc)) if that would make adoption more palatable.
