Personal update
Hi all
Partly in response to PR #161 and also just in general...
> How is it going @henrikingo ? This PR is so close to finally getting
merged!
Sorry for being silent a few weeks. I suffered a pneumonia which took me
offline, recovering and catching up now.
Also as of July I have a new job. Related to that I need to verify whether
my employer has or needs to submit a new CCLA with the ASF, and of course
also if and when that is in place, whether my new employer approves of me
continuing to conntribute to Otava in particular. The latter of those
should not be a problem, but the CCLA and approvals will take some time,
both due to bureacracy and vacation season.
Since #161 is almost ready and there is a chain of follow up PRs blocking
it, I was going to suggest that you Alex finish the remaining few fixes and
merge it. So that we can unblock other work.

Thank you! You found quite a few bugs still, mostly in the append()
section, which clearly had insufficient test coverage.
In the mean time I've found the form I need to fill in to request
permission to work on an OSS project, so hopefully I'll soon be back here
in full swing.

It's big corporation, I just want to follow the internal process.

Thanks!
And then #154 is blocked on it. It hasn't been reviewed as much, but take a
look and merge it if you think it is close enough. O course, it needs to be
rebased on top of #161 first.
But hopefully soon I can pick this up too.

You are bound by your ICLA and can certainly contribute unless there is something in your new employment contract that prevents it. Whether or not your employer should file a CCLA to allow your contributions during company time is their decision. The ASF is happy either way.
