[Issue 127019] New: Cannot save file. Error saving subfile content.xml

https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=127019

          Issue ID: 127019
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Cannot save file. Error saving subfile content.xml
           Product: Writer
           Version: 4.1.1
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Windows 10
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P5 (lowest)
         Component: save-export
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: seng.maxximus@gmail.com

I cannot save any file to any location on my computer or my network. I keep
receiving the "content.xml error". This issue presents itself in both new
document and editing existing documents. I have searched through the forum but
I have not found any solution that can help me.

System configurations: Windows 10 and OpenOffice 4.1.2

I was unable to reproduce the bug. I tested for orcmid's remark on track
changes and comments to check if those settings (or any combination there of)
would trigger the bug. Since the file type wasn't specified I also tried
changing the file type (along with the Writer configurations); Never got a
content.xml (or any) error message.

Steps (all in Writer, only configurations and file types change):
1) Create new document
2) Add text
3) Save and Close
4) Reopen Document

Writer configurations:
Writer -> with tracked changes & comments
Writer -> without tracked changes & comments
Writer -> with tracked changes & without comments
Writer-> without tracked changes & with comments

File Types: .odt, .xml, .txt

Potential cross reference bug:
Issue 125267 - Saves odt files with pictures incorrectly, specifically fills
content.xml with draw frame repeats

There seem to be two different issues here.

 1. A content.xml error should only occur on opening a document, not on saving
a document.

 2. Do you mean that documents you save cannot be opened because of (1) or do
you mean something else?

Please explain in more detail. Also, provide the complete "content.xml" error
message. What is in the title of the dialog box, and all of the text.

Finally, please report whether you are using tracked changes and annotations
(comments) in your document or not. There is a defect related to content.xml
error that is tied to tracked changes.

[Changing back to Unconfirmed. This issue has been open less than one day and
we need to honor time zones and other reasons for delays. Please wait at least
72 hours before treating an user as non-responsive.]

4.1.1 is not the last build.
First, you should update it.
Second, sounds like a Windows issue and not an AOO bug.
Are you to have suffissiant privilege to your file access?
