    +1 (nonbinding) pending a successful travis build.  It appears there is a general issue that Kyle Richardson is investigating (dev mailing list titled "Test failing due to new year").
    
    Ran it up on my CentOS 6.8 host server, followed your suggested testing, and received the success message.  Note that in my testing I also merged [my changes for METRON-635](https://github.com/JonZeolla/incubator-metron/commit/318485547d6a4383a68b88566727aefdc4ff9748) but after some brief testing I'm not sure that was necessary.  Can revisit again tomorrow to be sure (this lack of testing METRON-635 is why I haven't opened a PR yet).
