Migration to Jira
Folks,
Commons have just decided to migrate wholesale to Jira. HttpCore is
already in Jira. The release management functionality of Jira looks
really promising. I do not see any reason to delay migration of
HttpClient from Bugzilla to Jira. If I hear no objections I will go
ahead and ask Infra to initiate the migration process.

Many thanks, Henri, for having taken care of that. I checked Jira and
all looked fine to me. Please go ahead and make HttpClient project in
Bugzilla read-only
Cheers,
Oleg

I've gone ahead and done the migration and have made a jira issue for
bugzilla's httpclient to be made readonly. When the readonly happens,
I can do an incremental migration of any issues that show up in
Bugzilla.

Henri,
HttpCore is fine as it is. It is meant to be a separately versioned
product. HttpClient 4.0 will use HttpCore as a dependency.
Please let me know if there's anything I could be of help with migration
of HttpClient

Oops no! HttpClient is very different from HttpCore. We want both
projects separately.

Will work on this. How does the following sound:
Migrate HttpClient from Bugz to Jira
Move the issue in HTTPCore into the HttpClient project
Delete HttpCore
Rename HttpClient to HttpCore
If so, I think I can go ahead and do it asap. No need to tie with
Commons at all.
