Error at iBATIS configuration

Hi everybody,

I've a problem at running some tests with iBATIS.NET DataAccess v1.7.0 with
VS.NET 2003 and Win XP Pro SP2/ES.

These are the messages that throws to me:
------ Test started: Assembly: Kudos.Test.dll ------

TestCase 'Kudos.Test.DelegacionTest.GetList'
failed: IBatisNet.Common.Exceptions.ConfigurationException :
- The error occurred while configure provider.
- The error occurred in <provider name="sqlServer1.1"
xmlns="http://ibatis.apache.org/dataAccess" />.
- Check the sqlServer1.1.

I'm using this dao.config:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<daoConfig xmlns="http://ibatis.apache.org/dataAccess" >
	<providers resource="providers.config" />

	<context id="KudosDao" default="true" >

		</database>

			<dao interface="Kudos.Dao.IDelegacion, Kudos.Dao"
				 implementation="Kudos.Dao.DelegacioDao, Kudos.Dao" />
		</daoFactory>
	</context>
</daoConfig>

And this providers.config:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<providers>
	<clear />
	<provider
		name="sqlServer1.1"
		enabled="false"
		assemblyName="System.Data, Version=1.0.5000.0, Culture=neutral,

		commandBuilderClass="System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommandBuilder"
		usePositionalParameters = "false"
		useParameterPrefixInSql = "true"
		useParameterPrefixInParameter = "true"
		parameterPrefix="@"
	/>
</providers>

Iv'e changed the line that reads <provider name="sqlServer1.1"/> and no
matter what always stop there.

Can somebody please give any directions?

Re: Error at iBATIS configuration

Posted by Martin Trejo Chávez <ch...@hotmail.com>.
I've rebuilt the provider.config file and the first did was to add the
provider schema. From there the first line of the provider tag reads:
<provider name="sqlServer1.1" enabled="true" default="true"

And finally worked.

Re: Error at iBATIS configuration

Posted by Martin Trejo Chávez <ch...@hotmail.com>.
Hi Gilles,

Thank you for the answer. As you noticed, the provider's enabled property
was set to *false*, I've already changed to *true* but keeps throwing the
same exception. I'll give a try with the minimum set of properties for the
provider tag.

Any other ideas would be appreciated.

You must enabled the provider
<provider
               name="sqlServer1.1"
               enabled="*true*"
