Chainsaw V2 problem

Getting the following FATAL error in the chainsaw log:

        pluginDirectory cannot be null, and it must exist and must be 
readable, using the normal Classloader

Followed by another FATAL error:

        Problem parsing XML document. See previously reported errors. 
Abandoning all further processing

Can anyone suggest what is going on?
