samoa project status

Hi,

I am interested in using Samoa for online machine learning. But I see the
latest code change is half year ago and I did not see much discussion
online. What's the current status of this project? is it still actively
developed? Thanks for any help.

Hi Lian,

Thanks for your interest in Apache Samoa! The project is still alive!
We are just a bit overwhelmed with various updates and also work-related
issues.

Ideally we want to release a new version of the code asap with various
things that we integrated and
also push for some new updates that have been under works for the last half
year or so.

In fact, we are in the process of elevating two heavy contributors to
regular Samoa committers.
So hopefully in the next few weeks / month we should get things rolling
more often.

Thanks again for your interest and feel free to test drive Samoa and offer
ideas, code, feedback etc.
