Cocoon "under achieving" at ApacheCon US 2003?

Is it just me, or do others think that Cocoon is "under achieving" - 
there are numerous sessions on building web applications:
- with Struts
- with J2EE
- with CGI (!?)
- with Turbine
- with Tomcat (OK, for desktops apps)

But all the Cocoon sessions seem to be "introductory"
(MO01,MO13,MO17) or very specialised (TU12,TU19A).

I am not saying Cocoon should be "competing" with
those other frameworks, but the impression given to
an outsider is that Cocoon is some small, new, "niche"
type technology... and the "real" applications are or
should be built with PHP or Struts.

I know this is not something we can do much about;
more just an open question of sorts and perhaps it
*is* a good reflections of where Cocoon has managed 
to get to so far, and its unfair to expect any more.

Thoughts or comments?

You can do a session on Cocoon on the next ApacheCon.
