New list ?

A personal peeve of mine, all the jira notifications going to the commits
list, makes it hard to see whats going on.

(Yes I could filter but..)

How about an issues@ list where we can send the jira stuff ?

+0 Gavin, it doesn't bother me. So if it goes either way, it's cool.

I would be fine with it either way. I usually just filter the commit
related messages anyway if I'm on an especially verbose list. OODT is quiet
enough that I don't really mind them being the same.

Progress on OODT is strongly driven by JIRA issues, so my only concern would be that folks might forget to subscribe and miss out on what initiates progress on the codebase.

Sounds good Gav. I saw ambivalence, so happy to check it again in 6 months
and see what's up.

Cheers,
Chris

Ok, so there was not really enough positivity for this to happen at this
time. (i.e most don't care too much just yet.)

I'm happy to revisit this in 6 months and see what the status is then.

Gav.

I think this is solvable with a filter... however i could see a case where
someone might only cared about following JIRA issues and didn't want all the
svn commits flooding their inbox... so i guess that makes me a +1

I like the clean separation of auto generated emails though, so I
get that.

Happy either way.
