I've pretty much got it working now. Still fails on Hudson with the
artifact copy timeout that I posted about yesterday.

I had my first clean build on Linux for a long time yesterday (I saw a
couple of off compliance failures and also had to disable the
enpoint-tribes test) so still a little work to do.
