[jira] Created: (AXIS2-1695) REST support in axis2server

REST support in axis2server
---------------------------

                 Key: AXIS2-1695
                 URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AXIS2-1695
             Project: Apache Axis 2.0 (Axis2)
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 1.1
         Environment: JDK 1.5, Win XP
            Reporter: Charitha Kankanamge

Since axis2server does not support REST invocations, please mention it in release notes as a limitation of the axis2-1.1 release.

There are number of REST URL occurences included in the documents/readme files. Limitation of REST invocation of axis2server should be added to release notes so that users may aware of this issue.

Great... Now we can have a set of REST integration tests, which will
make sure not to surprise us with occasional REST/POX/HTTPBinding
failures..

Keith Godwin Chapman resolved AXIS2-1695.
-----------------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

We now support REST through the WSDL 2.0 httpBinding. We may need to expose these properties through annotations in the next release though.
