Just an update, caldav4j, 0.9.1 is on [maven central|https://search.maven.org/#artifactdetails%7Ccom.github.caldav4j%7Ccaldav4j%7C0.9.1%7Cjar], but, I haven't tested it with Openmeetings. The work on HttpClient 4.x is currently ongoing.
