recommendation for solr replication throttling

Hello,

We are needing a recommendation for solr replication throttling.  What are your recommendations for maxWriteMBPerSec value?  Our indexes contain 18 locales and size for all indexes is 188GB and growing.
Also will replication throttling work with solr 4.10.3?
