           Summary: Problem loading jtl files
           Product: JMeter
           Version: 2.1.1
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Main
        AssignedTo: jmeter-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: nop.lists@gmail.com

Loading jtl files created recently with JMeter 2.1.1 into the aggregate report
does not always work.

The error has several forms:

Form1:
- the information is being loaded only partially.
- an error message saying "Error loading result file - see log file" appears
(see screenshot).
- in the jmeter.log the message "2005/11/14 16:06:29 WARN -
jmeter.reporters.ResultCollector: File load failure, trying old data format. "
appears.

Form2:
- the raw information is being loaded fully but the calculations are wrong
(comparing with scrrenshots I had made when the tests were done).
- an error message saying "Error loading result file - see log file" appears
(see screenshot).
- in the jmeter.log the message "2005/11/14 16:06:29 WARN -
jmeter.reporters.ResultCollector: File load failure, trying old data format. "
appears.

Form3:
Sometimes JMeter aborts with a "[GCException java.lang.OutOfMemoryError:
requested 24 bytes" message.
Please note that the JTL files are not THAT big and enough space is available...
