paulsp opened a new pull request, #1711:

   - Use Jackson features instead of individual bundles
   - Add feature dependencies dependences for clients that can be use with remote providers, i.e. CXF and http.
   - Correct the schemaLocation attribute
   - Add missing feature and bundle dependencies
   - Remove unneeded servicemix bundle dependencies
   - Remove HTTP prerequisites as they are installed by the features
   - Add Whiteboard documentation

   This PR is "out to date":
   - Jackson feature changed a little
   - Other version (CXF) also changed
   
   The REST example should work "smoothly" as it's part of the itest (executed by CI): https://github.com/apache/karaf/blob/main/itests/test/src/test/java/org/apache/karaf/itests/examples/RestExampleTest.java
   
   I'm closing this PR, please feel free to reopen a new one if needed.
