HELO_EQ_D_D_D_D and HELO_DYNAMIC_IPADDR2

Hello,

we are using public static IPs for our servers and are labeling these with names containing the IP of the servers. Here is an example: server1.123-123-123-123.domain.tld
In DNS and rDNS zonefiles we are using the same pattern.

The problem is that SpamAssassin adds HELO_EQ_D_D_D_D and HELO_DYNAMIC_IPADDR2 to all the mails sent from theses servers what I totally understand referring to the rules.

My question is: Is there a workaround for this? Because we are not using dynamic IPs, but IPs show up in our servernames.

We tried to add static.ip to the servername in the rDNS zonefie, (e.g. server1.123-123-123-123.static.ip.domain.tld) but it wasn't changing anything.

Thank you for your help!

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / With kind regards,

Swen Brüseke

Change the PTR records to something sensible.
