using jsptag portletlink without loosing the tabbed panes?

Hi,

I've been trying to link between my portlets using <a
href="<jetspeed:portletlink name="DummyPortletName"/> in my jsp's. 
That works just fine, except that the tabbed panes completely disappear and i
get to the portlet i linked to in "full screen" (still have header/footer,
but tabs are gone)

Any clue on how I should do this?
