[jira] [Commented] (AIRAVATA-593) Configure Xbaya to use derby configuration for registry

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AIRAVATA-593?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13468154#comment-13468154 ]

Suresh Marru commented on AIRAVATA-593:
---------------------------------------

There is no rest registry in 0.5 release, its still in sandbox. Jdbc through xbaya is a known issue. This is one of the reason I suggest to quickly push the release 0.5. And stabilize rest registry and follow up with 0.6 release which will remove this limitation.

> By default xbaya expects registry to be configured on mysql and complain to connect to mysql. You need to copy repository.property file to apache-airavata-0.5-SNAPSHOT/bin to make it work. Question is why xbaya even care about driver? it should call the API using the registry rest service and the error should be like registry configuration error.
