Minimal diff against 2.3.2 to add this functionality

To allow for specific CR, LF or CRLF patterns along with other control codes an
option should be added to the TCP Sampler to allow for use of Java escape codes
in the sampler text.

This can be achieved with the various new functions:

__char()
__unescape()

The char function is in nightly builds from 677138 (inclusive) if you want to
give that a try.

Although providing similar functionality, I think an unescape function will be
useful too - probably easier to use in a lot of cases.

Sounds like a great solution as well. Our only requirement is to be able to
specify the exact format of line-feeds so any solution to that problem is good.

A very good idea - but I don't see why it should be limited to the TCP Sampler.

I've just implemented something similar as a function:

__char(n,m,,,)

which allows Unicode characters to be entered.

I think this could also be added as a function so it would work for all
samplers.
