[ANN} Apache Standard Taglib 1.2.3 released

The Apache Tomcat team announces the immediate availability of Apache Standard Taglib 1.2.3.

Apache Standard Taglib is an open source software implementation of the JSP Standard Tag Library (JSTL) technology.

This release supports JSTL version 1.2 and includes bug-fixes and improvements on the previous 1.2.1 release. The notable changes include:
- Updated -compat library to use container’s EL implementation for JSTL 1.0
- Better classloading support when deployed in-container vs. in-webapp
- Improvements to XML processing, see binary README for additional flags
