class not found: javax/xml/parsers/DocumentBuilderFactory
I've gotten the server installed at work on NT, but I'm having trouble
here at home. I'm getting a class not found error. My enviroment
variables are below the error. I only have Xindice.jar in the
classpath Is there a FAQ for Xindice?

I hope that you don't have xml parser based on jaxp in your classpath.
Please include Xerces or xml parser based on jaxp in your classpath.

I get the same error messages on my
Windows-98 PC. Is yours PC Windows-98?
It works fine on my XP machine.
Both the PCs have the same classpath and
other Xincide env variables set correctly!

Hi Justin,
it's necessary to have the actual dir in the classpath. Try
".;c:\xindice\java\lib\Xindice.jar" as CLASSPATH.

FYI, this would be good for newbies, but the install instructions
say to use any JDK, 1.3 & higher. However, JDK1.3SE does not contain the
javax.xml packages.
