[acegi] What's the advantage using ACEGI?

Hi all,
   
  Recently I read a lot about using Acegi in JSF. But I can't see any advantage. First, there is little document. Second, using Acegi is not easy. It's quite complecated. Third, using Acegi you can just define user and the role. Seems no chance to define group, sub group etc.
   
  Any suggestion?
