Michael Blow updated ASTERIXDB-1436:
------------------------------------
Summary: Support Storage of Big Objects (was: Support Storing of Big Objects)
> Support Storage of Big Objects
> ------------------------------
>
> Key: ASTERIXDB-1436
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ASTERIXDB-1436
> Project: Apache AsterixDB
> Issue Type: New Feature
> Reporter: Michael Blow
> Assignee: Michael Blow
>
> In AsterixDB currently tuples are limited to 1/2 of the configured page size (storage.buffercache.pagesize, storage.memorycomponent.pagesize) for storage, and limited to logging page sizes & relatively small multiples of runtime frames. Support for large values should be added, independent of configured page sizes.
> Changes to support this requirement includes Hyracks frames, in-memory components, disk components, replication, and logging.
