I had an index built off master ( 8.0 ) , and then tried restoring it to a Solr running branch_7x ( by mistake ) instead of master.

The restore operation failed  but then the collection was never cleaned up. The collection was created , index copied over but was in an unreadable state 

We should clean up all the state if a restore fails.
