[jira] [Resolved] (OAK-1856) Enable specifying of OSGi config via
JSON file and in memory map
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-1856?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Chetan Mehrotra resolved OAK-1856.
----------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Added support for the above. One can now specify the config via two way
# {{org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.repository.config}} - Passing a map of pid -> config with that config parm
# {{org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.repository.configFile}} - Passing comma separated list of json config files
The config can be specified in JSON format as below
{code:javascript}
{
"org.apache.felix.jaas.Configuration.factory-GuestLoginModule": {
"jaas.controlFlag": "optional",
"jaas.classname": "org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.spi.security.authentication.GuestLoginModule",
"jaas.ranking": 300
},
"org.apache.felix.jaas.Configuration.factory-LoginModuleImpl": {
"jaas.controlFlag": "required",
"jaas.classname": "org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.security.authentication.user.LoginModuleImpl",
"jaas.ranking": 100
},
"org.apache.felix.jaas.Configuration.factory-TokenLoginModule": {
"jaas.controlFlag": "sufficient",
"jaas.classname": "org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.security.authentication.token.TokenLoginModule",
"jaas.ranking": 200
},
"org.apache.felix.jaas.ConfigurationSpi": {
"jaas.defaultRealmName": "jackrabbit.oak",
"jaas.globalConfigPolicy": "proxy",
"jaas.configProviderName": "FelixJaasProvider"
},
"org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.jcr.osgi.RepositoryManager": {},
"org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.segment.SegmentNodeStoreService" : {}
}
{code}

> In oak-pojosr module we can specify the OSGi config via property files. To simplify setups for embedded usage it would be better to allow specifying the configuration via
> # Map of pid -> config passed as part of config map to the RepositoryFactory
> # JSON file which again contains map of pid -> config. The file path can be specified as part of config map to the RepositoryFactory
