[jira] Created: (IVY-627) Add a "publish date" on the website
Add a "publish date" on the website
-----------------------------------
Key: IVY-627
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IVY-627
Project: Ivy
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Documentation
Reporter: Maarten Coene
It might be be interesting for the end-user to see the date when the website was published.
Adding a "publish date" in the header (for instance next-to the google search field) could help...

I suggested the header because it will be more visible to the user.
For instance, I never saw the publish date on the Ant site before this moment (and I saw it because I was looking for it, otherwise I wouldn't have seen it).
But the footer is fine for me, as long as it's displayed somewhere :-)

Yes it's less visible in the footer, but I think it's something that user who are interested in will search for, and so find it in the footer as you did for Ant. I don't think this information is important enough to deserve a place in the header. But if others really prefer something more obvious, it's ok for me. Any other opinion?

Indeed it may be helpful, but I'd rather put it in the footer.
