Re: Web Services Security

Hi, pankaj.
I download the free example of your book; and is very usefull because is the only source of information that shows some code and the way to secure web services.
I'm trying to protect my web services using the security of the web conteiner, i readed that i must put the wsdl file in another location when i secure the web server, but my
code doesn't find the wsdl document and throws the following exeption.

javax.xml.rpc.ServiceException: Error processing WSDL document:
javax.xml.rpc.ServiceException: Error processing WSDL document:
javax.xml.rpc.ServiceException: Cannot find service: {http://localhost:8080/defaultroot/services/Delegacion}DelegacionService

Please told me if you have any idea about thsi error.

Thanks in Advanced.

Hi,

At the risk of sounding self-promotional, I will refer you to the site
http://www.j2ee-security.net . This site is devoted to my latest (and only)
book titled "J2EE Security for Servlets, EJBs and Web Services" and has the
chapter "Web Services Security" as the free sample download. You can get to
the download page directly by clicking on
http://www.j2ee-security.net/book/sample-chap/. However, there are other
goodies on the site, including, but not limited to, the complete source code
of all the examples and utilities covered in the book.

One of the examples uses Axis, JAX-RPC and VeriSign TSIK to implement
WS-Security based security mechanism.
