Summary: Assertion Editor Field is unusable for Long Assertions
           Product: JMeter
           Version: 2.0.3
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Main
        AssignedTo: jmeter-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: jmeter@binarytwo.com

When you have an assertion pattern value that is longer than the space provided
to type/paste it in, after changing field focus, if you try to edit that value
at a later point, you get a scroll bar on the field that obscures the pattern
text, making it unreadable.

It would be nice to either expand the pattern field when it's being edited (ie,
make it multi-line or something) or just stop the scroll bar from appearing.
Both of those solutions would allow for long assertion patterns to be edited
through the GUI.
