[WEB] Derby web site at DB project

I initialized the derby web site at http://db.apache.org/derby ,
replacing the incubator graphic with the DB project graphic and
(hastily) changing many references from the Incubator to the DB project.
Please post any problems you find -- I suspect there are quite a few
since I did this quickly.

Currently both http://incubator.apache.org/derby and
http://db.apache.org/derby exist. I plan to remove the incubator web
site when I verify the new site is working and a redirect can be put in
place from the old one to the new.

Also, I added Derby to http://db.apache.org/index.html; however, I
didn't add it in the proper way -- need to find out how to do so. Below
is a copy of the email I sent general@db.apache.org.

regards,

  -jean

Subject: How to add Derby to db.apache.org index.html?

Greetings, all,

I moved the Derby web site from /www/incubator.apache.org to
/www/db.apache.org tonight, and I did an initial hack to the index.html
file to add a link to derby, which I realize is incorrect for the long term.

Who can tell me how to build/deploy the db web site? I understand it
uses maven and I'm happy to spin up on maven if anyone can send me pointers.

many thanks,

  -jean

yes, and I'll also update
http://incubator.apache.org/projects/index.html -- derby needs to move
from the "Currently incubating" table to the "Successfully incubated" one.

Not a problem, exactly, but someone needs to update:

http://incubator.apache.org/projects/derby.html

with our current status and also change the link to the 'real action'
to our new home. Jean, you updated this once before, would you have
the time to update it again? Otherwise, I can look into it.

Thanks,
andrew

Thanks for the suggestions -- committed revision 226837 . It'll take a
couple hours for the changes to become visible on the web site.

Also, I brought derby_web.html (more) up to date, especially with
regards to forrest releases. 0.7 is now the production release, but
derby_web was still calling it the development release. Also there were
many dangling references to even older forrest releases, such as the
(old) requirement to name source html files with an ihtml extension.

The upgrade to forrest 0.7 will simplify the directory structure, so
I'll try to move that task up in priority in my queue.

Hello Jean,

Glanced through most of the pages and I think you did a pretty good
job with the changes. Few minor things..

- Derby History (http://db.apache.org/derby/index.html#Derby+History)
should be updated to reflect this milestone.

- I think the change in URL should be mentioned at ..
http://db.apache.org/derby/papers/derby_web.html#Web+Site+Change+Notes
