Template object from something other than a file

Can a Template object be instantiated from a String containing VTL?

I'd like to store VTL as a varchar in a database rather than as a file in a filesystem.

Cheers.

Of course, but you might have to do some work depending on what you
want to do.

The best way is to use the DataSourceResourceLoader, or something
similar.

You can also use the evaluate() methods in Velocity / VelocityEngine if
you don't care about the parse time.
