[jira] [Created] (AIRAVATA-2139) What was intended to achieve by 'Is the Input required?' in application interface

Eroma created AIRAVATA-2139:
-------------------------------

Summary: What was intended to achieve by 'Is the Input required?' in application interface
                 Key: AIRAVATA-2139
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AIRAVATA-2139
             Project: Airavata
          Issue Type: Question
          Components: PGA PHP Web Gateway
            Reporter: Eroma
            Assignee: Suresh Marru

Currently we set this field to 'True' as a practice. Why do we have this?
Is this to be used to incorporate defined input files to be optional?
