Summary: 0 to the zeroth power should throw an
ArithmeticException
Product: Commons
Version: 2.1 Final
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Lang
AssignedTo: commons-dev@jakarta.apache.org
ReportedBy: elharo@metalab.unc.edu
0 to the zeroth power should throw an ArithmeticException. It should not return
1 as the API documentation currently says it does. This is just not
mathematically well-defined.
