- Right now we have a "sleep 2" workaround in the FUSE tests (pending refactor of BIGTOP-1221).   
We can remove that once  HADOOP-3679 is patched (implementation of FUSE consistency).  
Alternatively, we can keep the sleep command and make it configurable. 

- Also there are other tests which should be added as optional (chmod, chown, ... ).  These are all useful when testing the implementation of a FUSE mounted file system over a DFS.
