Ignore file from commit, when its already in repository
Hi, I need to set ignore property for some files. But these files are already in repository and I need them in repository.
I only do not want to change them.
Default versions of these files are in repository. But each developer should change these files in his working copy... But them I want to ignore these changes, when commiting.
Is it possible in svn ?
Thanks a lot for help.
Best regards,
L.P.

Best practice is to not have such files in working copy.
Either provide a template file, or a file from separate branch.
I.e. authorization credentials, that is in template file, is absolutely dummy,
every coder using their own copy of it to connect to working database
prototype in their personal environments.
