someone took the draw arc from the circle but left the draw pie, need draw arc circle

After two weeks or so I made the arc work almost as it says in HELP.  I got
to draw on arc with the circle then it quit..  My elispe also drew an arc
as it says in Help, but just one time.  .   tell me how to draw an arc with
