Last munin update before it went bonkers. See the bar on the right side.

I have tried to enable mod_proxy on my server 3 times now. Every time all hell
unleashes on my server. I get bogged down from several thousands of spam bots.
This is like 2-3 seconds after I have enabled mod_proxy. Even munin stops
generating stats. 
So I suspect something in the code is notifying a major spam network. 

This is on a Debian squeeze server using mod_proxy. I have not enabled any
vhost yet to make use of the mod_proxy. This happends as soon as I a2enmod
mod_proxy_* and do a apache2ctl

So what is going on here?

Nothing in the server is notifying a major spam network.  

You might have better luck discussing this on the users list, as our bugzilla
is for reporting bugs not for support or discussion.
