[jira] Created: (FOR-666) Error in FAQ 2.17 (Path matching)

Error in FAQ 2.17 (Path matching)
---------------------------------

         Key: FOR-666
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FOR-666
     Project: Forrest
        Type: Bug
 Environment: WINDOWS XP
    Reporter: Georg Öttl
    Priority: Minor

The pattern matching example is quite misleading. There should be a note where exactly to copy your old site (in a standard seeded project) to make the pattern matching work.

At least for me it worked only after I used a **.html directeive.

<map:match pattern="old_site/**.html">

[jira] Closed: (FOR-666) clarify the sitemap matches etc. in FAQ about non-skinned html

    Resolution: Fixed
      Assignee: Ross Gardler

I don't see the problem with this FAQ entry. Sure, the user has to work out the right match to put into place, but it's not the job of the FAQ to give all the details.

I've added a link to the sitemap docs to help new users.
