Russian l18n WG

Dear friends,

Ben Collins-Sussman has advised me to consult with you on the following
matter.

It is my pleasure to let you know that a working group dedicated to l18n of
Subversion for Russian language was recently formed and I'm writing to you
on behalf of it. Besides myself (Vassily Ragosin <vr...@vrgraphics.ru>), the
group consist of Alexander Leschinsky <ba...@lair.pp.ru>, Dmitriy O Popkov
<di...@dimentiy.info>, Dzmitry Lazerka <tr...@tut.by> and Maverick
Crank Grey <ma...@mail.ru>. The group will occupy itself primarily
with the task of translation of svnbook into Russian for the coming months
and will proceed to l18n of software itself after that task will be
accomplished.

We have been discussing among ourselves various opportunities for organizing
our effective teamwork and naturally came to conclusion that some sort of
repository for our materials and a mailing list are the requirements.
Although most of us are capable to set up these services for our internal
work on our own, we have also come to conclusion that it would me much more
beneficient for our efforts to do it under the aegies of the official
subversion project at tigris. As for now, the question is whether it's
possible to set up russian@subversion.tigris.org and receive write access
for the members of our group to the
https://svn.collab.net/repos/svn/trunk/doc/translations/russian/ branch of
repository. Please notice that Mr. Popkov already has the access to this
branch, but we need it for all members of our group for the efficient
groupwork.
