Summary: httpd as reverse proxy with SSL and IBM Lotus Domino as
backend is not working right
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.2.2
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: mod_proxy
AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: pekka.panula@sofor.fi
I got httpd v2.2.x (also i have uses 2.0.x series) as reverse proxy and i got
IBM Lotus Domino servers (v6.x.x) as backend where www-pages are (as .NSF
databases).
Things does not work right if i put SSL-working on httpd, pages do not load
correctly (stalling, etc), many mystic errors, its random, sometimes it does not
work right even with http (without ssl).
If i take httpd out and direct traffic directly to IBM Lotus Domino, all goes
well. So problem is that httpd does not like IBM Lotus Domino. Has anyone got
any clue whats happening?

I try auth_ldap with a LDAP domino server 5 with a apache 2.0.59 and 2.2
I do not found a way to implement the authentication, after the bind Apache send
an error [ldap_search_ext_s() for user failed][Erreur d'op\xe9ration]
I try with Active Directory and it works fine. So apache cannot connect to a
LDAP domino ?
thanks for support

Created an attachment (id=18769)
--> (http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=18769&action=view)
my httpd configuration, i have changed all names/ip-addresses
Here is my configuration. I have changed all my ip-addresses and hostname there
and removed all but one virtual host, all virtual host use that same kind of
template there is in proxy.conf.
Basicly i start httpd with parameters "apachectl -k start -DV22 -DSSL -DPROXY1
-DSSLHOST -DLOG", i dont currently use CACHE-define.

Please provide your reverse proxy configuration and have a look in your error
file for error messages. If there are none, please set the loglevel to DEBUG and
provide the results.

Sorry but your remark is completly unreleated to the original problem. As it
seems rather a configuration problem than a bug please discuss this on the users
list (http://httpd.apache.org/lists.html#http-users).

debuglog might be a problem for now, i dont have debug-level log and setting
debug-level to my production httpd might be not good idea, it it possible to set
debuglog to one virtual ssl-host?
