Screen after crash
After opening a file, I used very often, the screen is fading. Message
"OpenOffice does not work, The program will be closed. You will get a message,
if a solution is available". After restart, open office offers to reconstruct
the file. Then the screen is fading again. I deinstalled and reinstalled
several time version 4.1.0 and 4.1.1
The problem is only in some odt-files, I use very often. Unfortunatelly those
files are most important for me.

Now I can tell an important detail: If I open a textfile with a table larger
then borders of the page, the oowriter fades and crashes. After making the
table smaller on a computer with an older version of oowriter, the programm
works well.

The symptoms that you report are not typical.
Most users have no problems with using OpenOffice.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer further advice without more detail from
you. Please, attach a document to reproduce crash.

I was unable to replicate the issue that the author described. I uploaded a
test file to replicate the issue. A more detailed description and files by the
author would better facilitate the steps needed to replicate the crash. The
steps I took, result, and testing environment are as follows:
Steps:
1) Launch OpenOffice Writer
2) Click on File/Open
3) Select file Issue 125690 - crash when opening older files - testing file.
Table out of border (side) from your designated folder.
4) Click Open
Result:
OpenOffice Writer does not crash using the above steps.
Tested with OpenOffice Version 4.0.1
Operating System: Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit
RAM: 4GB
Processor: Intel Core i5 @ 2.5GHz
