[jira] [Created] (OPENMEETINGS-1370) JRE 8 is blocking screen sharing/recording by default

David Schroff created OPENMEETINGS-1370:
-------------------------------------------

Summary: JRE 8 is blocking screen sharing/recording by default
                 Key: OPENMEETINGS-1370
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENMEETINGS-1370
             Project: Openmeetings
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Recordings, Screen-sharing
    Affects Versions: 3.1.1
Environment: Local installed JRE: Java 1.8.0_77
OpenMeetings Server: 3.1.1
            Reporter: David Schroff
            Assignee: Maxim Solodovnik

Java JRE 8 is (again?) blocking screen sharing/recording by default due to "Security Level High not reached - self signed certificate detected". Tested in my own OM installation and reproducible inside this public demo instance http://openmeetings.apache.org/demo.html > https://om.alteametasoft.com/openmeetings

It seems exactly this bug is (again?) happening: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENMEETINGS-1151

Without admin-access on the business-computer i cannot change the security level of my local JRE Java, so screen sharing is impossible.
