                 Key: RIVER-227
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RIVER-227
             Project: River
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: com_sun_jini_tool
    Affects Versions: jtsk_2.1
            Reporter: Jim Hurley
            Priority: Minor

Bugtraq ID [6323877|http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6323877]

The man pages for tools include example commands which are displayed on
multiple lines without line continuation characters (terminal \). The
services man pages having multi-line commands do include the continuation
characters. A consistent convention should be used for all command lines.

Need to examine all of the man pages and use a consistent
approach to displaying a command line on multiple lines.

Mark Brouwer commented on RIVER-227:
------------------------------------

It appears there are some more inconsistencies such as the typographic conventions used for {{install_dir}}, these will be corrected as well, the same applies for the references to policy files as well.
