[jira] Created: (FELIX-2035) Reimplement framework resolver
Reimplement framework resolver
------------------------------
Key: FELIX-2035
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FELIX-2035
Project: Felix
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Framework
Affects Versions: felix-2.0.3
Reporter: Richard S. Hall
Assignee: Richard S. Hall
Fix For: felix-3.0.0
The current framework resolver is functional, but there are scenarios that cause it to go into apparent endless conflict detection and resolution cycles. We need to introduce an algorithm that is a little bit smarter in how it searches for solutions. Additionally, the design could be improved.
